Workshop Teachers

APNQ is pleased to offer hands-on workshops for the first time at Quiltfest. Learn a new technique or hone your skills as you learn from the best instructors from around the US and Canada. Sewing machines will be provided courtesy of Pfaff, Brother, Bernina and others, so no need to worry about bringing yours.

Workshop fees: $65 whole day (6 hrs), $40 half day (3 hrs), plus $18 one-time registration fee –Includes admission on the day of your class, canvas tote, Quiltfest 2008 pin and name tag ($27 value).

Registration will be on a first come basis. No refunds or exchanges. Lost, forgotten, unused or stolen tickets will not be replaced.
For orders received after July 18, 2008, tickets will be held at Will Call.
For Canadian orders, mailing cut-off is July 13.

Jan Krentz

A nationally recognized quilt instructor, Jan is also an author and designer. Winner of the 1998 Teacher of the Year award, her motivating workshops are packed with practical tips and techniques. Rosalie Dace
South Africa
Rosalie is a studio artist who has been embroidering and making quilts since the ‘70’s. With a background in art and education, she combines her interests in exhibiting, teaching and judging. She has taught, exhibited and judged internationally, and her work is in several private and public collections.
Daphne Greig
British Columbia
Co-author of two quilting books, with two more coming in 2008, Daphne has been quilting since 1980 and began teaching in 1990. She writes for quilting magazines and teaches internationally and online at Quilt University. A resident of North Saanich, BC, her work has been exhibited in the US and Canada.
Shar Jorgensen
Minnesota
An internationally known quilt and template designer, author, speaker, video and television personality, Shar has been quilting since the late 1970s. She teaches her innovative techniques all over the world. Her series, Quilting from the Heartland, airs on public-television stations.
Jean Wells
Oregon
Author, educator, designer and proprietress of The Stitchin' Post in Sisters, Oregon, Jean is also founder of the annual Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. Jean has written more than 24 books about quilting, from Patchworthy Apparel in 1978, to her latest, Machine Appliqué Made Easy. www.stitchinpost.com
