Artist Statement
The perfect fun and enticing escape to throw over that “little black
dress”.......a flair towards the wild side as the feathers float in
the air while you walk.
This quilt expresses some of the feelings and emotions I experience when working with colours and textures to create quilt art.
Techniques & Materials
Blue/Green Capelet. Blue silk, a variety of green organzas, painted
and embellished with glass wooden and felted wool beads, buttons, fibres and
a wonderful closure.
