Artist Statement
Imitation is said to be the sincerest form of flattery; therefore I’d
like to say thank you to all of the artists and craftsmen, alive or not, who
have inspired my creative inner eye.
Techniques & Materials
Blue/Green Scarf. Layered silk/rayon velvet appliqué, lined with silk
chiffon, sublimation dyes, silky polyester raw edge appliqué; hand
and machine stitching, Procion hand dyed and commercial fabrics, recycled
satin ribbons, glass beads.
